Chicago Magic Enters Long-Term Agreement and Relationship
06/01/2010 -- Today, we are pleased to announce that the Chicago Magic Soccer Club and Chicago Magic North Soccer Club are completely combining their organizations. Working together will add and improve
opportunities for players to grow from the youngest ages through their collegiate playing careers and beyond without having to leave their neighborhood teams early on; pooling our coaching professionals;
creation of highly competitive teams capable of consistently competing for state, regional and national championships; providing development for players at the US Soccer Development Academy level, and minimize the duplication of resources. One of the goals of working together is to invest and grow our neighborhood based teams. Teams from U7-U12 will feel little to no impact from the merger and would remain primarily intact. At the U13 and above age groups the best players would come together to build high performing teams at all levels. The philosophy of competitive soccer, player development, and community continues for the Chicago Magic. “This is a substantial opportunity, for our kids,” said Karl Smith, Chicago Magic Director, “It will allow us to have a powerful player pool and positively position the future development of all of our players.” The clubs are community based and focused on the individual development of each and every player regardless of skill level or gender. "In addition, combining our programs significantly enhances our ability to build high performing teams at all levels." said Todd Bailey, Chicago Magic Director, "We want to strengthen these teams more and allow all players to compete on an even higher level. Players throughout Chicagoland now have access to our Academy program without having to leave their local neighborhood during their early formative years of training."

Magic Juniors Recreational Program
Chicago Magic North is now offering a recreational program designed for players aged 5-7. Creating a fun, stress free environment along with quality training and development is the objective of this program. Games and practices are held at the Regional Sports Center in Crystal Lake. Fall and Spring program costs $95 and includes 12-16 games and 2 times per week training by our licensed coaching staff. Click here to learn more.

Magic North Brings Home Best of Midwest Title
Chicago Magic North’s Under 15 girls win this past weekend’s Best of Midwest tournament. Playing in the Under 16 division, the girls showed that they are poised to make a strong run in the upcoming Illinois State
Cup. Job well done and good luck this weekend.

Chicago Magic Tryouts Begin
The tryout period has begun and Chicago Magic has several top teams that are searching for committed soccer players to fill in open roster positions. We are always looking for players that have the desire to
compete at a high level and are willing to put in the hard work necessary to become a top player. Our club is not for everyone, but if you’re a player that has aspirations to play in college or becoming a professional,
Chicago Magic's reputation of developing some of the top players that come out of the region and nation speaks for itself.

Chicago Magic Makes Strong Run at Dallas Cup
The Chicago Magic U15 Pre-Academy had an outstanding run at 2010 Dallas Cup winning their group and advancing to semi finals. “We know that we have a very talented group, but we were very surprised at the
level we were able to play at without the opportunity to train and prepare outdoors.” Said head coach Karl Smith, “Playing against international and southern teams puts us at a slight disadvantage when they can play and train outdoors year round.” The solid result’s against international and top domestic competition proves the group has potential to be one of the region’s top sides.
